The importance of Alkaline/acid balance

Ensuring that the body is in a start of alkalanity is very important. When the body is in a state of acidity it  can cause disease and sickness.  The best way to remedy our acid/alkaline balance is thru our diet.

Alkaline forming foods:   fruits and vegetables

Acid forming foods:  processed foods,  based on white sugar, white flour, coffee, alcohol, takeaways, fried or processed foods, red meats, cigarettes and overeating.

 

Ideal dietary guidelines

Eat a diet 70% of alkaline forming foods, and eat 30% acid forming foods in your diet daily.

 

Acid in the body, very simple is like rust in your car, it corrodes the metal, hence disease's like arthrititis, gastroesphogel reflux and duodenal ulcer and cancer happen. 

 

Supplements to alkalise the body

If you are finding it difficult to adhere to the dietary guideleines, supplements maybe useful are Barley Grass imparts an alkaline residue once digested and can help nourish and balance your body system.  Tissue Salts of Nat Phos (sodium phosphate), high quality essentail fatty acids, fish and flax seed oil would be beneficial.

Urine ph testing strips are quick and easy to use, ideal ph should be between 6.5-7.5
